Token Emission Model for DistriBrain

Overview

DistriBrain's token will have a fixed supply, ensuring scarcity and potential value appreciation over time. The emission model for distributing tokens to nodes is designed to reward participation, secure the network, and gradually decentralize the token supply.

Fixed Supply

• Total Supply: The total supply of DistriBrain tokens is fixed at 2 billion tokens.

• Non-Inflationary: Once all tokens are distributed, no additional tokens will be minted, ensuring a deflationary model that protects against inflation and preserves token value.

Emission Schedule

• Distribution Allocation: Each Engine Holder will share a reward pool of 250,000 esBrain tokens on a daily basis.

• DePIN Key holders will share an additional reward pool of 100,000 esBrain tokens on a daily basis

Node Rewards Allocation

• Proportional Rewards: Tokens are distributed to node operators based on their contribution to the network, such as the amount of computing power, bandwidth, and storage they provide.

• Staking Incentives: Additional rewards are given to nodes that stake their tokens, helping to secure the network and incentivize long-term holding.

• Performance-Based Rewards: Nodes that achieve high performance metrics, such as low latency, high uptime, and reliability, receive bonus tokens.
